Films seen Feb 2019

1. Jane Eyre [1944] Orson Welles (Actor), Joan Fontaine (Actor), Robert Stevenson (Director)

Black and white but it really captures the atmosphere. Truncated. Jane is not rescued from the moor by the caring vicar but goes to her hateful aunt. She receives no inheritance and the final ending is not as written by Charlotte Bronte. But it is a great film to enjoy particularly when one is familiar with the autobiographical links. Welles is brilliant.

2. Hurricane Iwan Rheon (Actor), Milo Gibson (Actor), David Blair (Director)
I found it rather disjointed  and apart from the local interest I would not find it worth watching. I did not think the end had any reference to current events.
