I had had a traumatic year in pharmacy. I resigned my post at Gateway, Willesden Green when the pharmacy manager's job at the bottom of our road became open. I had wanted to be a three minute walk from home. But Elliot Godfrey proved a disaster. A malicious assistant lied about me to the owner and fabricated false testimony against me. I was sacked. Desperate for a job I found one out at Twyford beyond Maidenhead. It was a good family business but as soon as Mattock Lane pharmacy advertised I jumped at the opportunity to get away from a long daily commute.
