My friend Trevor was given two tickets as a birthday present and kindly took me to the Emirates Stadium, first visit for both of us. It was a capacity 60,000 crowd in an excellent stadium where everyone has a good view.
It was Arsenal at home to Middlesbrough. The home team attacked continually but lacked penetration.
Another fruitless attack. Then the visitors counter-attacked and scored a good goal.
Arsenal continued to attack. Boro defended well. Arsenal took until four minutes from time to eventually equalise.
