BBC's Passion

I watched about half an hour of the first episode. That was all I could take of such a wimpish Jesus. I remain convinced that the second commandment prohibits such images. The Gospel is to be preached, not acted. No-one can portray the God Man faithfully except by preaching Him. But there is a deafening silence from Christians and an even louder one from Muslims who are supposed to object to artistic representations of their prophets.
