Boris on the snow

Asked why the buses weren't running yesterday; "Well you see, the scientists have in fact been predicting that the world is getting warmer so London doesn't have any snow ploughs. And if we were to unleash these menacing buses from their depot and one of them were to skid, it would be a lethal weapon. But given the circumstances I will be suspending the congestion charge today. May I urge everybody out of this national skive, business must continue as normal. And my message to the heavens...you've put on a jolly good show but this is enough now"; Boris Johnson, BBC

I am told the reason for no buses was fear of litigation. It's the Elf n'safety world we live i, populated by the litigious.
