This is my modernised version of Beza's grace.
Everlasting God and Father, we ask you to give your blessing upon us your children and servants and upon the food which you are pleased by you goodness to give us, to sustain our lives that we may use the same rightly with thanksgiving as you have commanded. But above all things give us grace to desire and especially to seek, the spiritual bread of your word, with which our souls may be fed eternally in the name and to the glory of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, one and true God who lives and reigns world without end. Amen.
