Kareem Abdul-Jabbar: These Terrorist Attacks Are Not About Religion

"When the Ku Klux Klan burns a cross in a black family’s yard, Christians aren’t required to explain how these aren’t really Christian acts". says Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (born Ferdinand Lewis Alcindor, Jr.; April 16, 1947) is a retired American professional basketball player who played 20 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) .

Oxymoronic claims such as this beggars belief. Political correctness or perhaps cowardice, seems to have paralyzed journalists and world leaders alike who are quick to separate terrorism from Islam. Yet, 99% of all terrorist acts, globally are committed by Muslims. If these are purely random, individual acts, then why are they spread so globally and seem so co-ordinated. Diligent research into the core teachings of Islam, as per its founder, will show a clear connection between violence and Islam which divides the world into two camps, The House of War (Dar Al Harb) belonging to all infidels and The House of Peace (Dar Al Salaam) belonging to Muslims. Peace is only possible when the whole world bows to Allah and his prophet. This is the underlying agenda of Muslim terrorists.

The highest duty of a Muslim is to imitate, obey and defend their prophet. During his lifetime, numerous critics and opponents were brutally massacred at his behest eg. One Asma bint Marwan, a poetess who wrote that Muhammad was not a prophet, was mercilessly slaughtered while suckling her baby.

When British born radical cleric Anjem Choudary said this week that there is no freedom of speech in Islam and that he endorses the actions of the Paris terrorists, he was being obnoxiously honest, as usual.

When terrorists routinely shout Allahu Akbar, wave flags with Koranic verses, barbarically behead innocent people, make videos of such while reciting the Koran etc. how can people like Kareem, with any integrity, claim that terrorism has nothing to do with religion!

Nobody else today, is doing anything similar in the name of his God or his founder.

In stark contrast, Jesus Christ was never insecure or intimidated by his accusers and persecutors and never ordered his followers to defend him or fight for him and taught that "He who lives by the sword dies by the sword". The KKK are certainly not obeying Jesus Christ.
